Volleyball continues growth through conference schedule

ELSAH, IL – The Panthers' Volleyball team has had a tough task this season playing with the smallest and least experienced roster in the conference. Despite the losses and adversity, the team continues its path to improvement.

In the past week, the Panthers have played five matches around the SLIAC conference. Last Friday, they traveled to Fontbonne for a set of conference matches against Greenville and Fontbonne. The team then returned home on Tuesday for another match against Greenville. They completed the week on Thursday on the road at Spalding University in Louisville. Principia fell 3-0 in all five matches.

For this group, constant technical improvement has been the goal, and Coach Davis feels they have exceeded our expectations. He says, "Battling deeper into each match has been our theme. Along with gaining confidence in our play, comes the growth in our ability to support the play of others on our team as well. I am looking forward to finding out just what these kids are capable of achieving over the next few years."

Up Next: The Panthers have three matches left in the season, and Senior Day will be at home on Saturday, October 22nd at 11:00 am. Come support the team as they celebrate their two seniors, Madi Leslie and Eloise Esseks.
