COLUMBIA, MO – The Panthers Volleyball team traveled to Stephens College on Tuesday afternoon for the first leg of a home-and-home with the Stars. Principia will face Stephens again at home next week.
Stephens committed very few errors in the match, which allowed them to get the Panthers out of sync early on. Principia put together a couple of good runs – following a couple of ace serves by libero
Ellie Clover-Crowden – but eventually Stephens' fast-tempo offense got the best of the Panthers. The team continues to show grit and resiliency in the early season as they keep learning and growing.
Up Next: The Panthers will host Stephens for a rematch in their home opener at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, September 19th.
