ST. LOUIS, MO – The Principia men's soccer team lost 5-0 in a road contest at Washington University on Tuesday evening, with five different players scoring for the Bears.
The Bears opened the scoring just 70 seconds into the game and didn't look back as they dominated play throughout. This marks the third time this season that Principia has given up a goal in the first two minutes of the game, a trend they hope to change moving forward. Panthers goalkeeper
Jacob Ellis was peppered with shots all night and played well despite the loss as he matched his career high with 11 saves.
Principia will look to rebound in their next match, traveling to Wisconsin to face Beloit College on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
