Senior Year (2011)
Sanderude had a solid fall his junior year and looks to parlay some of that success to this season.  The senior captain will be the leader of the group and as he goes so does the group.  Sanderude played in 16 games and started 15 of them.  He scored three goals including the consolation goal against Wash. U.  After a stellar three year run we look forward to witnessing and benefiting from the maturity Sanderude has shown over the last couple of years.  Could this be the year he guides the group to the "promised land"??
Junior Year (2010)
As  a seasoned veteran, Sanderude will be counted on to provide sound leadership as a junior co-captain as the panthers work hard to retool their back line that has to be reshuffled from last seasons stingy defense.  Sanderude was a solid performer last season scoring 1 goal and an assist for the season and being a central figure on a defensive line that limited opponents to .99 goals against average.

Sophomore Year (2009)

Sanderude has emerged as one of the true leaders of the future for the Panthers.  He will be counted on heavily to control the back line taking over from Wes Fleming--who moved up the pitch at the holding spot.  Sanderude's job will involve bringing together a talented but relatively inexperienced back line that has not played together as a unit and his leadership skills will be the equalizer for this unit....featured in 16 games and started in 13 of them after weathering an early pre-season spill that saw him miss the first few games of the season.

Freshman Year (2008)
 
Principia is trying to get the soccer program to a level of competing at a high level every season, and Paul Sanderude is the kind of player that makes this possible. Paul played high school ball in the Northeast and will look to bring his poised and steady soccer to the Midwest. As a freshman, Paul will get lots of time on defense as well as quality minutes in the midfield. He is a consistent and focused player on the field, and a truly nice guy off the field. He will be a key factor in whether Principia as a program can take the next leap.
