Sophomore Year (2011)
Sierra’s bubbly personality was very enjoyable to have around the field last year. Although it was her first time competing at a high caliber level, she never gave up and we are very glad she didn’t. Mostly a defender, we had her playing forward so she was out of her element a little bit. She has grown so much as a player in one year we can’t wait to see her progress this year.

Freshman Year (2010)
Sierra Powell grew up in Westlake Villaga, California playing soccer. She shows a great love and passion for the game in her determination to work hard. Having played AYSO for seven years, she has spent a lot of time and energy into the game. She is a very receptive and coachable player who puts her teammates first. Always with a smile on her face, she comes ready to give it her all every practice. Never complaining, she receives critique with grace. We are excited to have such a strong and dependable individual on our squad who will play a significant role this year and years to come.

Prep/Personal
When Sierra isn’t outside kicking a soccer ball she is inside kicking people.  But never fear that only occurs when she is partaking in karate. If there is ever a time you are looking for a good book to read ask Sierra, her love of reading makes her a great review source. Also, if you spent all your time procrastinating on your 10 page paper we are sure Sierra wouldn’t mind providing some assistance. With her love of creative writing, she is bound to quickly finish the paper for you, although, it may have nothing to do with your subject. Other interests include acting and dancing so look for her in the school play!
