Senior Year (2011)
Spencer has become a true leader for the Principia College Baseball Team.  His skill and tenacity has been present since the first day he arrived on campus.  Last year, Spencer was the “Grinder of the Year” for the team, which is the biggest honor in the program.  Spencer will play shortstop and also be one of the team’s starting pitchers.

Junior Year (2010)
Woody has earned the title of captain, along with fellow Junior Matt Bowman. He is a true leader and when he steps between the lines he is as focused and driven to win as any player who has worn a Panther jersey. Woody will be causing havoc as our leadoff hitter, and will be responsible for locking down the middle of the infield as our starting shortstop. The last two years Woody has been a SLIAC All-Conference selection.  

Sophomore Year (2009)
Spencer was named to the SLIAC All-Conference team last year as a freshman shortstop.  Defensively, he is one of the top performers in the conference.  He struggled with the bat early, but, after some adjustments to his swing and his mental approach, he came on with a vengeance the final third of the season.  He ended up with a respectable .260 batting average.  He looks to improve dramatically this year.
 
Freshman Year (2008)
Spencer “Woody” Brown  is one of the purest athletes to come to Principia in quite some time.  Spencer has loads of baseball talent and the sky is the limit for how good he can become.  On the mound, Woody has a good fastball and an array of secondary pitches and offensively he will hit leadoff and look to wreak havoc on the bases.  He also plays a very sound defense.
