Fall 2011 Men's Soccer Roster
Biography
Sophomore Year (2011)
Following a one year hiatus, Shea comes back with renewed vigor for the game. In his first season he featured primarily as a defensive midfielder and will still look to get some minutes at that spot but his ball striking abilities also lends for him getting a look deeper in the attack. Having a player of his depth and pedigree is good for any team and we look forward to a much more seasoned and disciplined Shea to have an impact and fight for a consistent spot this fall.
Freshman Year (2009)
Shea Vice, only a week into sports camp earned him the nickname among teammates as the “Vicenator” for his strong defensive tackles will come out on top on 50/50 balls. His footwork, vision with the ball, and cannon of a shot is sure to out wit the opposition. As his fitness continues and he adapts to the college game, Vice has a future as a dangerous holding mid and should provide us with depth at this position in his first year.
(Prep/Personal)
Vice comes to us after a successful spell playing for his father Bill at Blackman Highschool where he was part of the 2007 team that made it to the State Semi-Finals in Tennesse. During his play there they also made it to districts and were regional champions. Vice brings a high pedigree of soccer knowledge with him to begin his collegiate play.
