Senior Year (2012)
Kelly DeWindt comes into her senior season as a “super” senior. Her ability to find open passing lanes, have a good first touch and read the game makes her a superior player. Her greatest strength is her ability to listen to her teammates while on the field. As a holding midfielder she slides right and left, drops back and pushes up at the command of her teammates and without hesitation. She is reliable, strong, consistent and a solid player to have controlling the flow of the Principia game.  

Sophomore Year (2009)
Last year, Kelly was always the first off the bench to fill in the defense. Though she only started in 6 games, she played in 20 of the 21. This year she will be greatly appreciated in the back and is likely to see many more games in the starting line-up. The team will be depending on her big kick to keep them out of trouble.

Freshman Year (2008)
Kelly joins the team having played at the Principia School for four years. Kelly was 3-time 1st team All League and 1-time 1st team All District. As a Captain her senior year, Kelly led the team in the back with a strong defense.

Prep / Personal
Outside of soccer, Kelly’s interests include creative writing, physics, and swing dancing.
