Sophomore Year (2012)
Karina is entering her second year of colligate soccer with an improved touch, increased speed, and a new position, forward. Last year Olsen worked in our defensive line as a center back, however this 2012 season she subs in as a center forward. Learning a new position is difficult, but we know Olsen is up to the challenge. Not only will her continued work on foot skills help the offensive attack, but her six foot height will be utilized for goal scoring opportunities. We are excited to see how Olsen finds a new niche for herself.

Freshman Year (2011)
Upon playing soccer the first two years of high school in Wilton, Connecticut, Karina joins our team eager to learn and play soccer again. Having played goalkeeper in the past, she is excited to step into a field player position. Standing 5’11’’ we hope to utilize her height in the backline of our defense. After not having played for two years she is a little rusty but she is getting back into the swing of things. We are excited to have her on the team and look forward to her contributions in the backline.

Prep/Personal
Karina is excited to play with new teammates and make new friends. She is also super excited to play soccer again and push herself to become a better player as well as teammate. Outside of soccer Karina enjoys playing basketball, baking, listening to country music and the outdoors.
