Junior (2013)
Spencer was the most improved player in 2012 offensively and defensively. After hitting .202 as a freshman Spencer worked hard improving his swing finishing with a .311 average, 42 hits and 14 stolen bases. The Panthers will look for leadership from Spencer as he slides over to shortstop this season and we expect big things from him in 2013.

Sophomore (2012)
Spencer is an athletic player who works extremely hard.  His influence can be seen on the team already as a sophomore as he has raised the level of commitment on the players around him.  Look for him to make an impact at the plate and in the field.  Clevenger will be fighting for a starting spot on the infield.  He may also be contributing in the outfield.

Freshman (2011)
Spencer was very impressive during the fall. He has a nice compact swing and good hands. Spencer is a coaches’ dream due to his work ethic and his coachability. Look for him to be making an impact as a freshman.

When did you start playing this sport and why?
Three or four.  My brother’s were on a tee-ball team and needed an extra player.

What do you love most about playing this sport?
The harmony and hardwork when the game is played right. The energy and love this game demonstrates.
