Freshman Year 2013-2014
"Izzy" is going to be a Freshman on this years team. Izzy started playing basketball again her Senior year of high school after taking a couple years off. She is looking to continue to improve and have an impact as a forward this season. Izzy is a hard worker and tough competitor, and has already helped the team with her hard work in practice. She joins her twin sister, Rachel Perea on the 2013-14 team.Â

When did you start playing this sport and why?
I started playing basketball in 4th grade because my sister played it and it looked fun. I quit after 8th grade but then picked it up again my senior year of high school because the coach recruited me and I thought it would be cool to play with my sister again.
What do you love most about playing this sport?
My favorite part about basketball is how fast paced and lively it is. It keeps you engaged 100% of the time.
