Junior Year (2013)

Sophomore Year (2012)
Matt Jones moves into the starting lineup for the first time this year. He is an extremely quick and talented guard with good explosiveness to the rim and solid range on his shot to 23 feet. Although he hasn’t been shooting well lately, his coach expects him to have a breakout game soon. Matt calls Colorado his home, but played high school ball at the Principia Upper School in St. Louis, Mo. Matt leads the team in steals and has made steady progress in his development as a legitimate college guard. He is a very hard worker and, just a sophomore, we can look forward to watching him grow and excel for three more years. 

1.)  When did you start playing basketball and why?

    9th grade, to try a new sport. 

2.)  What do you love the most about playing basketball?

    Ability to bring multiple individual talents to a team, competitively.
