Douglas is a strong, physical player with a tremendous vertical jump. Last year Sam earned his living playing tough defense, grabbing boards, and scoring in the paint. This year Sam is hoping to diversify his role on the team by earning some time as a small forward. Sam averaged 6.5 points and nearly 3 rebounds a game last season.
Freshman Year (2006-07)
Sam played football for the Panthers this fall. He is a strong, physical player with a tremendous vertical jump. Sam will earn his living playing tough defense, grabbing boards, and scoring in the paint. We look forward to Sam’s contribution to the team this season.
