Fall 2016 Men's Soccer Roster
Biography
Junior Year (2016)
As a sophomore, Ian got great training with his fellow teammates. He then demonstrated great fearlessness in his game experience last year. Looking forward to Ian leading from the back this year as the keeper returning with the most experience.
Sophomore Year (2015)
As a freshman, Ian showed a lot of potential. He didn’t get too much playing time due to senior starters but he did a great job pushing his teammates to be better. He has good mechanics and technical skill. His size is ideal for a goalkeeper with his big wingspan and jumping athleticism. He improves every training session and with his quick and good reaction skills he will be tough to beat for a starting position in goal this year.
Freshman Year (2014)
Ian Carson spent most of his high school years perfecting his craft as a goalkeeper at one of the top club teams out of the St Louis area. Playing with Scott gallagher academy has made Carlson a top contender for the goalkeeping spot as a freshman. Carlson brings poise and a sense of charisma to lead from the back line and we are hoping to see him evolve over the course of the season and should be a force to reckon with in conference in the coming years.
