Freshman Year 2016-17
Coming all the way from Northern Michigan is sharp shooter Jamie McFarlane. He steps in as a freshman looking to garner some playing time in the backcourt as he will bring not only his shooting but his physical defensive play. Jamie is ready and willing to take on the challenge of playing at the next level. 

When did you start playing basketball and why?
I started playing basketball as soon as I could walk. I was always around it because of my dad, and I would always play him 1 on 1 on my mini hoop in my basement. As I got older I would watch open gyms and dribble around until I was big enough to play.

What do you love most about playing basketball?
The thing I love most about basketball is the sense of joy that it brings me. I love every aspect of the game from being apart of the team to just shooting by myself.
