Sophomore (2017)
Emily has grown so much as a player during indoor this season. I can’t wait to see what happens in her second beach season. She is beginning to see herself as an all-around player with ball control skills – not just a middle. The coaches have noticed how coachable she is this season, and what a great partner she is. 

Freshman (2016)
Emily has done a nice job of bringing her Middle “gifts of the game” onto the sand. She has been learning the game and developing her offensive arsenal, while growing into a decent defender. Her competitive nature and love of the game make her a respected opponent for sure!

1. When did you start playing beach volleyball and why?
   I started playing beach volleyball last year cause I was told it would improve my indoor game and boy was that true!
   
   2.)  What do you love most about playing beach volleyball?
   I enjoy the fresh perspective I have gained on volleyball in general and the childlike wonder of discovering/ trying something new.
