2017 Women's Soccer Roster
Biography
Senior Year (2017)
As a junior, Emelie earned Second Team All-Conference recognition, making it her third consecutive appearance on a SLIAC All-Conference Team. For her senior year, Emelie looks to continue to dominate the midfield with her tenacious attitude, and superb ball control and distribution. Her selfless, persistent, and passionate play are only a few attributes of what make Emelie such a great leader on and off the field. For her final season, we can expect to see higher quality soccer and domination from Emelie, as she is ready to leave it all out on the field one last time.
Junior Year (2016)
For her junior year, Emelie will continue to play a key role in the midfield and she has been selected captain by the coaching staff. Her decision making, ball skills, and work ethic make her an invaluable player in the center of the field. Last year, she earned SLIAC Third Team All-Conference recognition. She was crucial in our team’s attack with her long balls, hard shots, ball control. She has been a gracious and unselfish player, playing wherever help is needed and we expect to see her get into the attack more this year.      Â
Sophomore Year (2015)
As a freshman, Emelie earned 2nd team All Conference recognition last year. Her solid touch and ball handling skills placed her in the center midfield position. She read the game and anticipated the play very well, tracking opponents’ movements and covering passing lanes. In the attack, she created scoring opportunities with her beautiful combination play with teammates. This year, she continues to build and support the attack, tallying a few goals here and there.      Â
Freshman Year (2014)
We are so excited to have Emelie on our team this year. As a player she is consistent, and reliable. We can always count on her to keep possession of the ball and do her job. As a teammate, Emelie is already a leader on the team, asking her teammates to hold themselves to a high standard and supporting whoever’s in need. It will be fun to watch Emelie establish herself as a dominate player in the collegiate game.
