Junior (2017)
Liz McAloney is a senior from Glendora, California.  Liz has taken some time off playing basketball since high school, and is excited to be back on the court.  She is a forward, and loves posting up in the key.  Liz’s enthusiasm and senior leadership will offer a great deal to Panther Basketball. Last year, Liz was in Dance Production.  Her major is Mass Communications and she has two minors - Economics and Business Administration.  Liz spent the summer doing an internship for the Seattle Seahawks, and she wants to work for a major league sports team after graduation.  Liz enjoys the first hymn from the Christian Science Hymnal as inspiration.

1. When did you start playing basketball and why?
I started playing basketball in the 6th grade because my best friend at the time was really into it and I saw it as another way to hang out. Turns out, I fell in love with the sport and kept playing even though she eventually stopped.

2. What do you love most about playing basketball?
What I love most about playing basketball is not only challenging myself in the sport but also I love the family-like bond that you gain with your team.
