Senior (2020)
Mesa comes to the beach straight from Indoor season where she played all the way around. Her indoor season gave her many more ball control opportunities so she is starting the Beach season at a better place than last year. Mesa is an awesome partner – her attitude and IQ and work ethic work together to give the duo a boost. Mesa’s serve is tough, and her ball control is progressing well. Mesa’s offense is growing each day as well. 

Junior (2019)
Mesa had a breakthrough year indoors, and is ready to bring that conviction to the sand. Mesa’s IQ of the game is solid, and she has a matching work ethic. Mesa is ready to work hard to be consistent in her ball control, and she definitely is very good at delivering the right set to her partner. Mesa loves the Beach game, is very coachable, and communicates well with her partners. Bravo!

Sophomore (2018)
Mesa’s volleyball skills have grown a lot in the last year, and she gets to keep working and enjoy the fruition of her maturation. Mesa is a gritty competitor, and willing to do what it takes to prepare well and see her ball control grow. Mesa is ready to add some more power to her offense as well as improving her shot game, and she is committed to keep building consistency in her tough serve.

Freshman (2017)
Mesa is new to the beach game this year, and we are already loving what we see!  Mesa loves to compete and hit the ball hard. She is working on finding the shots that work for her in the sand and we are so excited to see her continue to grow as she works hard this beach season.

Fun Facts

1.)  When did you start playing beach volleyball and why?
I started playing beach volleyball last spring! I started because it seemed like a great way to supplement my indoor volleyball skills and it’s super exciting to learn.

2.)  What do you love most about beach volleyball?
I love how casual and fun it is, and the fact that you get to know the other teams. It has definitely brought more diversity to my game.
