Senior (2009)
Hannah is a captain for us this season. Hannah was a top producer for us last year as an Outside Hitter, and she worked extremely hard in the spring to improve her abilities to put the ball down.  Hannah is one of the savviest players I’ve ever coached, and her ability to pick apart the court works well with her power game. Hannah was our leading passer and digger last year, and will set the bar high for her teammates again this season. I will depend on the duo of Hannah and Anne Goodrich-Stuart to be the on-court coaches this season. They are both brilliant in the game and are able to help the team adjust on the fly.

Junior (2008)
Hannah returned this year a new player. She plays the game fearlessly and relentlessly and her defensive game is both unbeatable and poised.  Hannah brings a smart vision of the game to her role as an outside hitter and ensures each point is won through earnest play.  She has found a new enthusiasm for both the sport and her teammates that transfers into smart and powerful energy on the court. We look to Hannah for solid consistency in all aspects of the game.

Sophomore (2007)
As a sophomore transfer, Hannah joins us for her first year at Prin. She is effective offensive threat that knows the game. Hannah is a smart and deliberate player in both the front and back row. She will be an asset to the team whether she is serving, hitting, blocking or passing.

Prep/Personal

#1 - When did you start playing volleyball and what level (Club, Y, middle school)
I have been playing volleyball for as long as I can remember... my first club team was in the fourth grade called Alabama Juniors

#2 - what positions have you played and which one is your preference
I have played all the positions... I have no preference... just as long as I play... but I am really not that great in the middle, I can't be a decoy
#3 - have you been captain - when and how long?
Captain my senior year in high school and now senior year in college

#4 - vb awards and honors (all-league, mvp)
????? hmmmmm SLIAC player of the week and SLIAC all conference honorable mention... I think not sure

#5 - Favorite kind of music?
all kinds really just music that you can sing to and makes me happy

pancakes and pineapples... but not together

too hard... White Christmas and Its a Wonderful Life

probably a seal

#10 - What do you think you will be doing and where in 10 years?
Who knows... but I would love to work at a zoo or on a farm or baking for the world... mostly I just want to be proud of what I do!!!

haba... my little sister couldn't say hannah or Hannahbelle not really sure where that came from... my name is not really great for nicknames

#12 - what do you love best about the best sport in the world - VOLLEYBALL? I love sliding and diving on the floor... I love smacking the ball to the floor or in someones face... I love aces and shanks... I love the control ofpassing and hitting, really all of it is controlled ... and the thoughtfulness and purpose of it. Mostly I love being competitive and what not
