Senior (2015)
Dallen “Swaggy Russ” Barry Russell looks to build off a “dece” year last spring. Dallen Barry can hit the ball as well as anyone and has made amazing strides off the mound, too. Dallen has a light-hearted yet competitive attitude and will be one of the leaders of the team. We expect Dallen Barry to have many more two homerun games this year, as he had last year against MacMurray College.

Junior (2014)
Dallen will find time this season on the mound and at first base. He has a flashy glove that will pick anything and his height will enable him to reach for errant throws at first base. Dallen continues to work on establishing his low fastball and off-speed pitches. 

Sophomore (2013)
Dallen got some valuable experience as a freshman both on the mound throwing 5 innings and at first base. Dallen will get the opportunity to showcase his talents as he joins the starting rotation and the Panthers are looking for a confidence hitter in 2013.

Freshman (2012)
Dallen Russell is an intimidating figure on the mound.   His size shows promise of gaining some velocity and he should be a quality arm out of the pen.  Russell played at the hot corner this fall and is expected to play first base this spring.  Russell’s bat will be useful in the lineup as well.

When did you start playing this sport and why?
My parents signed me up for baseball at the age of 5 and I’ve been playing ever since. 

What do you love most about playing this sport?
I have loved baseball from the minute I began tee-ball. I love the mental side of baseball and the commitment needed by all 9 players on the field for a team to succeed.
