Sophomore (2013)
Jake was a solid pitcher for the Panthers as a freshman throwing 28 innings wiht a 3.49 era and also pitching to contact. As a sophomore Jake will have an even bigger role as a starting pitcher and will also play third base and second base.
 
Freshman (2012)
Freshman Jake Elmore worked up the middle during the fall.  With a compact swing, Elmore may find himself in scoring position frequently.  Elmore is currently playing basketball keeping himself in shape and ready for the spring season.

When did you start playing this sport and why?
 I started playing baseball when I was very little. I was about seven years old when I first started playing.

What do you love most about playing this sport?
I love that baseball is such an individual sport but yet it is also such a team sport at the same time.
