Biography

After transferring to Principia College, Jake has settled in nicely and has locked down the hot corner.  He has picked up some innings on the mound as well and has been reworking his mechanics.  He has picked up some velocity and is preparing to have a successful senior year on the mound as well as at the plate.  Last year his timely hitting helped propel the Panthers to one of their most successful seasons in recent years.  He was voted as a captain last year and has filled the leadership role nicely.  He works hard and holds others to a high standard which has helped the Panthers build the foundation for their success.

When did you start playing baseball and why? I started playing when I was 4 because I used my nerf baseball bat to knock out my mom's tail lights and mirrors, so my parents signed me up. 

What do you love most about playing baseball? I love the team commodore and that every day is a new day to get better.
