Sophomore (2012)
After a solid freshman campaign hitting .320 with 40 hits, 30 RBI’s and 10 doubles the Panthers are looking for another solid year from Kit. He will be a fixture in the lineup and will play both shortstop and catcher.  Both of these positions are key to the success of the team and as a sophomore, Banko will rise to the challenge.  The coaches enjoy having Banko behind the plate because of his knowledge of the game and pitchers enjoy throwing to him. 

Freshman (2011)
Kit is one of the more polished freshmen that the baseball team has seen in years. He is a well-rounded ballplayer, who can hit, throw, and even surprise you on the bases. Look for Banko's name to be fixed somewhere in the top part of the lineup.

When did you start playing this sport and why?
Since I started playing tee-ball. 

What do you love most about playing this sport?
I love the mental side of the game and the humbling aspect.  It challenges you to always be ready for whatever is thrown at you.  It’s how you handle these situations that define who you are as a player.
