Sophomore Year 2024-25
DeMontrel, known as "DJ", joins us this year after playing his freshman season at Oklahoma Panhandle State. He is a smooth point guard who is super unselfish and loves to pass the ball. He brings a lot of energy defensively and flies around putting his body on the line. We are excited to watch DJ make a big impact on both ends of the court for the Panthers this season and beyond.

When did you start playing basketball and why?
I started playing basketball at 5 years old. I used to stay up and watch ESPN and see NBA highlights, so I fell in love with the game.

What do you love most about playing basketball?
The peace and joy I get from it.
