Sophomore Year 2024-25
Ivan returns this year having drastically improved from last season. He worked extremely hard in the weight room this summer and his athleticism has grown a lot in the last year. Ivan is a very consistent shooter and offensive threat from deep range. He has a great attitude every single day and is the definition of a team first player. We are excited to see Ivan’s continued growth on and off the court this year for the Panthers.

Freshman Year 2023-24
Ivan joins us in his Freshman season from the Principia School in St. Louis. Ivan hails from Ukraine, and is a great shooter from the outside. Last season, Ivan and the Principia School made it all the way to the State Championship game. He has an extremely hard work ethic, and is always looking to get in the gym and work on his game. We are looking forward to seeing Ivan’s progress on the court as he gets acclimated to the collegiate game.

When did you start playing basketball and why?
My middle school basketball coach offered me a spot to participate in practices, and I liked the process from the very beginning. However, the actual realization that basketball is something that I wanted to do and work on everyday, was when I visited a professional basketball game in my hometown for the first time in my life.

What do you love most about playing basketball?
I love that on a court, you can forget about any problems you have in your life. You can just enjoy playing your favorite game. Also, that there is always so much to work on, and there is constant improvement of skills, character, and leadership development.
