Senior Year 2023-24
Jake returns to the Panthers for his Senior season. No doubt, Jake is the glue guy for this Panther team, as his enthusiasm brings about an important camaraderie within the team. Jake has a ‘hard hat’ mentality, as he comes ready to work hard every single day. He pushes both himself and his teammates to be better with his attitude and desire on the court. Jake is a tremendous three-point shooter and will knock his shot down if you give him any space. We are excited to see Jake in what will be his final season in a Panther uniform.

Junior Year 2022-23
Jake is affectionately known as ‘Chico’ and has been an integral part of the program since he joined as a freshman in 2019-20. He is a team leader who is always trying to improve his game by working in the gym. His love for his teammates is felt by all, and there is not a person on the team that he has not impacted greatly! Jake’s three point marksmanship, ball handling ability, and sneaky athleticism make him tough to guard. We can’t wait to see Jake show what he can do on the court this season!

Sophomore Year 2021-22
This will be Jake’s second season with the Panthers. He is extremely eager to return after the last season was canceled. Jake is a gym rat and is always getting shots up to try to improve his skills. He is also a great coaches player, always looking to learn more and broaden his understanding of the game. He has improved a lot in the off season, and looks to bring a positive attitude with high energy that is unmatched on the team. Look for Jake to continue to improve and become more confident in his role on the team this season!

Freshman Year 2019-20
Jake hails from Chico, California and is the only freshman on this Panthers roster. We are excited to see what Jake can bring to the team this season, and how he progresses through his first year as a Panther. Look for Jake to progress on both sides of the ball this season as he gets integrated into the Panther system and becomes more comfortable with every game.

When did you start playing basketball and why?
I started playing basketball in 7th grade, mainly because I loved playing 1-on-1 with my older brother in our front yard. I tried a lot of sports and basketball was the only sport that I really enjoyed playing.

What do you love most about playing basketball?
The feeling I get when playing basketball is a feeling of satisfaction that I haven't experienced anywhere else. I love the idea that in basketball, the more unselfish you are, the more success you will have. And of course, the brotherhood.
