Sophomore Year 2012-2013

Jessica Bushong is a Sophomore transfer from Indiana State University. At ISU, she played varsity volleyball, and also played volleyball this fall for Principia. Although she has not played basketball the past two years, she is eagerly looking forward to getting on the court and playing again. Look for Jessica to have a major impact on the team this season.

1. When did you start playing basketball and why?

I started basketball when I was little, because my dad is a basketball coach and my dad was coaching my sister's team at the time.

2. Why do you love to play basketball?

I love to play basketball because "It is a game of misdirection" -Mike Bushong, and you really have to work with your teammates to make things happen.

3. What's the best part about playing basketball for Principia College?

I most excited to play with this group of girls and get back in the swing of playing.
