Senior Year 2023-24
Shemarri is our point guard and is looking forward to a big Senior season for the Panthers. He has been in the gym all summer and has refined his game. Last season, Shemarri was named SLIAC All-Defensive Team, and has added more to his offensive game to compliment his efforts on the defensive end. As one of our captains, Shemarri is a leader both on and off the court. We cannot wait to see Shemarri shine in a lead role in his final season for Principia.

Junior Year 2022-23
Shemarri is a true point guard and student of the game. He is always looking for ways to improve his game so that he can be a better floor general. Marri is lightning quick and has tremendous athleticism that makes him a menace on offense and defense. His improved three point shot will help open up his game even more this year. Look for Marri to have a great Junior season as he leads the Panthers from the point guard position!

Sophomore Year 2021-22
This season will be Shemarri’s first year with the Panthers, but this one is a special one for number 0. This will be his second year at Principia, but only his first time being able to partake in a basketball season. Shemarri has been in the gym non stop since the season was canceled waiting for his chance to get back on the court. With his skill set from the Point Guard position, Shemarri’s quick first step and tight handle make it tough to stay in front, and on the other end of the court he loves to apply defensive pressure and provide constant energy to the team. His work ethic and mature perspective and leadership skills earned him one of our captain spots. We are very excited to see what Shemarri brings to the team this year!

When did you start playing basketball and why?
I started playing basketball in the 8th grade. Basketball was a way to teach me discipline and keep me out of extra-curricular activities that were happening around me.

What do you love most about playing basketball?
Basketball is a teacher of life.
