Senior Year 2024-25
Charley is a captain this year and has been with the program since his freshman year. He is an undersized big man in the SLIAC, but his physicality and determination allow him to guard bigger post players. Offensively, he has a smooth jump shot and solid footwork that allows him to get to the basket when needed. We are very lucky that Chuck has been with us for four seasons, and this young Panthers team will rely on him to lead by example day in and day out.

Junior Year 2023-24
Charley, affectionately known as ‘Chuck’, has been putting in a ton of work on his game the last two seasons, and is ready to showcase that on the court. Chuck has been behind upperclassmen in the rotation, but finally gets his shot at an opportunity to contribute greatly on the court. His ability to play inside out will prove beneficial, and help the Panthers space the floor this season. This offseason, Chuck increased his overall athleticism to help improve his mobility on the court. We are excited to see Chuck flourish out there in his Junior season.

Sophomore Year 2022-23
Charley was a welcome addition to the squad his freshman year and has already taken a giant leap in his second go around with the Panthers! He is a physical presence who can get buckets both inside and out. Charley’s ability to step out and hit the three allows for him to create mismatches and advantages for him all over the court. His incredible work ethic has helped him improve tremendously since stepping on campus, and we are certainly expecting big things from Charley in the future!

Freshman Year 2021-22
Charley is the youngest member of our team this season, but it does not show. He has a smooth jumper to go along with his broad build and height. He also brings an intensity on both ends of the court that push all members of this team to be better day in and day out. Charley is always hungry for more growth in his game, ready to learn and to put in the work to improve and develop. He will be a very great addition to our team this year, and a big asset to the program in the following years!

When did you start playing basketball and why?
I started playing basketball when I was 8 to have an outlet for my energy. I fell in love with the process, team aspect, and the fact I could practice by myself and improve my game.

What do you love most about playing basketball?
I love the lessons that I have learned from basketball. Leadership, selflessness, resilience, and hard work to name a few.
