Senior (2019)
Maddie really improved her game last year and enters her senior year with a great deal of confidence. Her ability to keep things in perspective makes her a calm presence at games and practices.  Maddie continues to excel in singing and has sung the National Anthem at many of our home games.  Outside of basketball, Maddie is also a Residential Assistant in one of our freshman houses on campus.  Maddie is also a member of the Principia College Soccer team this fall.

Junior (2018)
Maddie is a junior and  loves setting up plays for her teammates and improved so much this past year.  Maddie also plays soccer at Principia College.  And she has a love for singing and in her high school choir performed in Carnegie Hall.  Maddie is so talented in singing and traveled with the Principia Arts on Tour this past spring and is President of Plus One Choir.  She is majoring in Music Production/Performance.

Sophomore (2017)
Maddie Wann is a sophomore transfer this year from Iowa Central Community College will play post for the Panthers this season. She loves setting up plays for her teammates.  Maddie also plays soccer at Principia College.  Maddie also has a love for singing and her high school choir performed in Carnegie Hall.  She is majoring in Music Production/Performance.



1.)  When did you start playing basketball and why?  I started playing basketball in middle school, we had a really great program and was really excited about learning a new sport.

2.)  What do you love most about playing basketball?
I honestly just love the team. My teammates are why I play. I also love strategizing set plays. It’s very different from soccer, which was my first sport. It’s been interesting seeing how skill sets can transfer over from sport to sport.
