Senior (2017)
Alex is a senior from San Rafael, California, where she attended Terra Linda High School.  She is excited to get back on the basketball court, and will be contributing at different positions.  Alex is one of the captains this year and we know she will be a perfect leader for the team.  Alex also plays soccer at the College, and participates in DiscoveryBound’s National Leadership Council. She has a double major in Business Administration and Spanish.  Her favorite quote is, “Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” –Albus Dumbledore (Harry Potter)



1.)  When did you start playing basketball and why?
I started playing basketball in 5^th grade. I knew my mom played when she was in school, and a lot of my friends were doing it, so I wanted to join and have fun.

2.)  What do you love most about playing basketball?
I love buzzer beaters as well as when a team uses all its players to score. I also love shooting the ball and having that perfect, crisp nothing-but-net shot.

Movie? Princess Bride

TV Show?  Parks & Rec, Hawaii 5-0, The Office, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Broad City

Food?  Fresh fruit, chips and guac, and gallo pinto (Nicaraguan rice and beans)

Restaurant?  Sol Food

Hobbies?  Playing piano and ukulele, or hiking and enjoying the outdoors

Dream Job? Marketing Director for a professional sports team (in NBA or FIFA)
