Senior Year 2012-2013

Jocelyn is a Senior Forward for the team this year. Joce has steadily improved each and every year, and is looking forward to being a key contributor on this year’s team. Joce always has a great attitude, and is an extremely hard worker. Joce has a good shot, and is a very good screener. Look for her to help get people open this year, while also being able to knock down some shots of her own.

Junior Year 2011-2012

Jocelyn’s dedication to the team is consistent and valuable. She was a vital part of preseason and has helped the smooth transition for the players who joined the team after soccer season. “Joce” plays the post position with a strong box out and a deadly pick, and she will do whatever is asked of her for her team and her love of the game.

Sophomore Year 2010-2011

Jocelyn's love for her teammates shines forth every practice and every game. Jocelyn aka "Joce" is a crafty individual who knows how to pump up her teammates during pre-game meetings. Joce is a strong forward for us and loves to grab those rebounds.

Freshmen Year 2009-2010

Jocelyn enters her first season of collegiate basketball and has already been much appreciated for her hard work put forth on the court in the pre-season. Jocelyn is known for her hustle and great attitude.

1. When did you start playing basketball and why?

I started playing basketball in middle school (6th grade) because I was quite chubby and my parents thought I needed to be more active...

2. Why do you love to play basketball?

It's a fast passed explosion of possibilities. The swish of the net, is possibly one of my top ten favorite sounds. It challenges me to grow as a player and an individual.

3. What's the best part about playing basketball for Principia College?

I get gigantic posters of myself, on which they give me the wrong number, the lockers that are comfortable enough to sleep in, playing Spalding.... No i think the best part has to be the people I get to play with.

Vegetarian tator tot casserole (don't judge it is awesome) or my great grandma's homemade cherry cheese cake.

Pirates of the Caribbean (1,2,4)(not 3, it was good but does not make my favorites list....the score might though that is pretty awesome... But the score from 1 is definitely better).

I also like Tangled.

Helping the under privileged in third world countries, while doing research on great white sharks or some other over utilized, underappreciated species.... I would also love to work with Paul Watson on the Sea Sheppard....And if I could coach a like 10u team at the same time...that would be awesome.

Oh thanks for asking that would have to be 1984 by George Orwell or any Stephen King book ( I haven't read all of them yet, but I love all of the ones I have read...)
