2014-15 Women's Basketball Roster
Biography
Senior Year 2014-2015Karina is entering her senior season as our starting center and as a second year captain for the Lady Panthers. As the leading rebounder in SLIAC last year, we are looking to see her repeat and surpass her performance on both offense and defense this season. Her hard work and dedication to her teammates inspires confidence. She is the definition of a good teammate and player. K will be a force to be reckoned with this year, get ready to watch her dominate the paint on both ends of the floor!
Junior Year 2013-2014Karina enters her Junior season ready to be the leading post player both on and off the court. Karina is a captain this year, and has done an excellent job thus far in leading off season workouts and the early season practices. Karina is a hard worker and strives to get better each and every day. Look for Karina to be one of the leading rebounders in the SLIAC while showing off an improved offensive game.
Sophomore Year 2012-2013
Karina is a Sophomore Forward on the basketball team. After having a tremendous season of growth as a freshman last season, she is anxiously awaiting her first year as a starter. Karina enjoys playing basketball, because she loves sports as well as the relationships it helps you build with others. Look for Karina to dominate the paint this season, as she will be depended on to help replace Lindsay Sydness.
Freshman Year 2011-2012
Karina joins our team from Wilton, Connecticut, where she played basketball and soccer for two years in high school. She is a very coachable player with 5’11” height, and has already made huge strides as a post player this season. We look forward to seeing her improvements in the seasons to come.

When did you start playing this sport and why?
I started playing basketball in elementary school. I've always loved playing basketball because of the teamwork it demands.
What do you love most about playing this sport?
I love how fast paced the game is and how it pushes everyone on the team to be completely in sync.
