Sophomore (2017)
Libby Lewis is a sophomore from St. Louis, where she attended The Principia School.  She also plays goalkeeper on the Panther soccer team, and has been recognized for her record number of saves. Libby also played beach volleyball at Principia.  Libby’s aggressive style of play and positive attitude will be important contributions on the basketball court, and she will find playing time at several positions.  Libby is majoring in Education, and has mentioned that she would like to be a coach someday. Her favorite quote is, “Nothing is either good nor bad, but thinking makes it so.”

1.) When did you start playing basketball and why?
I started in 7^th grade after the high school varsity coach convinced me that it would be fun and more people would attend our games than football games.

2.)  What do you love most about playing basketball?
I love the physical contact and how there is always a chance to gain the ball back after a bad play, missed shot, or turn over.
