Biography
Junior (2020)
Rachel has made tremendous strides this off season and will be a major force for the Panthers this year. Rachel has worked tirelessly on her post moves and with her strength and size she will be able to control the paint on the defensive end.
Sophomore (2019)
Rachel will enter her sophomore year with much more experience than she had last season. She has had the advantage of working each day with Senior post player, Sophia Hathaway, and we look forward to Rachel’s contributions offensively and defensively. Rachel also continues to be a member of the Principia College Soccer Team.
Freshman (2018)
Rachel McLeod-Warrick is a freshman from Bethesda, Maryland. She attended the Washington Waldorf School. We look forward to having Rachel contribute at the forward and post positions. Rachel has also played soccer this fall. She plans on majoring in Biology. Her favorite quote is, “A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.” - Winston Churchill
1.) When did you start playing basketball and why? I started playing basketball competitively in 10th grade. My soccer coach, who is also the basketball coach told me I was tall so I needed to play basketball.
2.) What do you love most about playing basketball? I love the speed and the intensity of the game, there's never a dull moment.
