2017 Women's Soccer Roster
Biography
Junior Year (2017)
After a year of hiatus, Emma Dixon, returns to the pitch and we are lucky to have her back this season. Emma is a strong forward who knows how to shield off any defender. Her awareness on the field helps our offense create movement up top, and when she presses you on defense she is someone you don’t want to mess with. Look for Emma to create goal scoring opportunities and defensive stops up top. Â
Sophomore Year (2015)
Last year, as a freshman, Emma played as our target forward. As the season progressed she became an important player in our attack. She used her body well to shield and hold the ball until she could distribute to a teammate or was able to turn her opponent. She worked hard on defense and placed the opposing defenders under pressure. She has improved her shot and will score lots of goals this year.      Â
Freshman Year (2014)
We are so grateful to have Emma on our team this year. With her tall frame and willingness to learn a new position, Emma is making the transition from defense to center forward easily. We love Emma’s honesty. Regardless of class, or situation, Emma is always there to be herself and voice a deep insight or a very funny comment. We’re excited to see how Emma contributes to the team’s success this season!Â
