Fall 2015 Women's Soccer Roster
Biography
Senior Year (2015)
Due to a physical challenge last year, Justine was out for most of the season. However, we are glad to have her back in action for her last year. She is confident with the ball and is not afraid to take opponents on 1v1. As a natural left footer, we can utilize her on the left flank for crosses and shots. Her speed and intelligence will be key for our attack this year.
Junior Year (2014)
Last fall, Justine proved to be one of our most consistent players, making smart tactical decisions and making game winning saves in the back. This year, we expect to see even more from our seasoned left back. We have been very grateful to see how Justine effortlessly embraces every woman on the team with sisterly love and gives metaphysical support to anyone in need.
Sophomore Year (2013)
A sophomore, we are excited to see what Justine brings this year after a successful season last year. Providing relief in the midfield and forward positions, she helped us get out of sticky situations by scoring crucial goals in order to tie up the game or get us ahead. This year, she is already demonstrating her prowess as an outside midfielder, using her speed down the lie and making smart decisions with the ball. We look forward to her continued success and to watch her.
Freshman Year (2012)
At Principia Upper School, Justine was part of a history making team. Her senior season the team took 2nd in state, a first in the high school’s history. Justine’s speed ability to get crosses off out wide contributed greatly to their success. We look forward to her continued contributions now at the College.
1.) When did you start playing soccer and why?
I started playing when I was 4 because during ballet class I would run around the room in circles rather than practice my positions in class. My mom thought that I needed to join something where I could run around instead so I was soon signed up for soccer and have played ever since!
2.) What do you love most about playing soccer?
I love the team work and beauty of the sport! Nothing better than a crisp fall night game, seriously though, and the fact that your teammates will run until maximum exhaustion for you.
