Senior Year (2012)
As a back-up goalie, Clark’s role on the team is one that her teammates truly appreciate. During practices her stern resolve to learn and improve in every moment is inspiring for the team to see, and when she is able to see game minutes her teammates are behind her 100%. Clark has a knack of making all her interactions with others result in a feeling of freshness and lots of laughter. We know Clark will continue to help the team on and off the field.

Junior Year (2011)
We were fortunate to have three keepers last year and Katie was one of them, however, as a back-up goalie she was not in the spotlight too often. However, now that our starting keeper graduated, she has the ability to step into that role. Having only played soccer for one year, it has been fun to see how coachable and receptive she is and to see how much she has grown as a player. She brings a joyful energy which keeps things light and fun. She has a hunger to learn and to improve and so we look forward to see her continued growth. 

Sophomore Year (2010)
We have been lucky to field one goalie on the team, however, this year we are so excited to have three, and hailing from Conroe, Texas Katie joins our keeper squad. Having never played soccer competitively before, her athletic ability allows her to jump and dive around the goal line. She has a good sense of when it is time to joke around and when it is time to be serious. She is the type of person who will finish what they’ve started. She works hard and never gives up. Her eagerness and willingness to learn makes her a very coachable player. Her great attitude and hard work ethic will enable her to overcome any obstacles. We are so excited to have her on our squad and look forward to her development into a great keeper.

Prep/Personal
With all the new security measures being taken on Principia campus, one might as well have a body guard. With a black belt in karate, Katie would be the obvious choice. She will be sure to protect you from the wild and dangerous squirrels and occasional trespassing deer. Don’t worry; she’ll be sure to take it easy on them because of her love of animals, horses in particular. As a counselor in the horsemanship group at A/U, Katie has worked with horses for four years. However, in the slim chance you do encounter an ill tempered fellow peer, Katie will be sure to lull them back to a state of serenity through her guitar playing.
