Biography
Sophomore (2019)
Kiona never gives up on a play until it’s done which is why she is an important piece to our backline. As a center back, she has helped limit the opposing team’s shots and the goal count low.
Freshman (2018)
Kiona is a great addition to our team. As a starting center back for her high school team, she played a key role in her team’s State appearance. Her experience and speed will provide stability for us in the backline. She has a hard work ethic and is a tough competitor which are the traits we are looking to build around.
1) When did you start playing soccer and why?
I started when I was in pre-school but wasn’t very consistent until junior year of high school when I played on the varsity team at the Upper School. I started because growing up, I’d always go to Evan’s games, my older brother, and just fell in love with the sport.
2) What do you love most about playing soccer?
Hanging out with some of my closest friends and just spending time together doing what we both love.
