Fall 2015 Women's Soccer Roster
Biography
Senior Year (2015)
Last year, Marczi earned the 2nd team All Conference and SLIAC All Tournament Team awards. She was the engine in the middle of the field that kept the team going. She inspired teammates through her play. She never quit and played in the moment, always thinking of the task at hand. This year, she will lead our attack in the middle and use her quick ball handling movements to break down the opposing defense.
Senior Year (2014)
After going abroad last fall, we are excited to have Nadine return for her senior year. Her ability to keep the ball during tight situations plays an important role in our attack. With a background in ice skating, Nadine always has a graceful movement as she sprints around the field. Whether intercepting passes, slide tackling, or scoring goals, she always exudes an element of poise and grace.
Sophomore Year (2012)
Marczi has fantastic ball handling skills. As a freshman she broke down the opponent on the left wing getting beautiful crosses off and scoring game winning goals. However, this year she has moved into the center mid where her creativity, intelligence and speed has enabled her to control the flow of the game as well as be an offensive threat. We expect to see Marczi become a vocal leader on the field as well this season.
Freshman Year (2011)
Hailing from Beamsville, Ontario, Nadine joins our squad for the first time. Before arriving, she played for an under 18 Niagara Falls Elite club team. As an attacking midfielder, she helped her team win their league as well as their league cup. We look forward to her contributions this year in the midfield with her solid foot skills and soccer knowledge.
Prep/Personal
Nadine looks forward to playing at a higher level of soccer, making new friendships, improving and learning more about soccer. When she is not playing soccer she enjoys volleyball, field hockey, drawing and playing the piano. Being from Canada, she also likes ringette which is a game similar to hockey except the players use straight sticks to move a rubber ring around the ice.
