Senior (2015)
Deanna was awarded the team’s Most Inspiring award last season, and it was because she was the most unselfish, nurturing, inspired team member who constantly gave of herself to make her team better.  Deanna competed each and every moment in practice, making sure that she checked her motives all along the way.  She was a force to be reckoned with when she stepped up to the service line, passers shuddered when they saw who was serving.  Deanna is one of the team captains, and has been helping to lead the team all spring and summer.

Junior (2014)
Deanna came back last season ready to go and showed us that a lot of hard work in the offseason can create a pretty mean serve!  She saw more time on the court as a DS- Deanna racked up 11 digs in her game high performance against MacMurray College.  She also came in during clutch times to serve for the team.  Deanna has once again showed that she doesn’t mind working hard in the offseason, and will look to gain even more experience in the defensive specialist position.

Sophomore (2013)
Deanna has seen substantial gains in her game after a lot of hard work in the spring and summer. De has a consistently powerful serve that can wreak havoc, and her love of the game is unsurpassed. Deanna is working to earn more time on the court as a DS, and is an amazing teammate.

Freshman (2012)
Deanna played four years of volleyball and soccer at Principia Upper School. Deanna is a great team player, and is willing to do whatever it takes to progress in her game. Deanna will be a defensive specialist for us.
