Senior (2015)
As Molly returns for her senior season, she is ready to take on a new role for the team, as a setter.  Molly is such a versatile player and is always happy and ready to serve.  For her freshman and sophomore years, she was used primarily as a defensive specialist, even stepping in as a libero occasionally.  Last year, we needed her as a hitter and she was ready to bang the ball, getting significantly more kills than she had in the previous two years combined.  This spring, Molly worked tirelessly to prepare to be a setter for the team. She put in many extra hours to prepare to serve the team in this capacity.  She has demonstrated that she is ready for the challenge and happy to be a leader for the team she loves!


Junior (2014)
Molly had a breakthrough season last year with her defense rising to a whole new level.  She ended the season with 398 digs- up from only 158 in fall of 2012!  Molly also took on a new role as one of the primary passers.  Molly saw some time at the libero position when our junior libero was out, and she performed beautifully under pressure.  Molly’s joyful presence and shining smile makes everyone happy and she is a joy to have on the team.  She also showed us that she can balance academics and athletics as she made the SLIAC All Academic team.  Molly will continue her development in the back court and we are excited to have her stability back there with another year under her belt!

Sophomore (2013)
After a great spring season and a summer of working her fitness, Molly reported to camp a better player. Her peaceful, disciplined presence in the backcourt is welcomed and contagious. She is taking advantage of every practice to play with more conviction, and to sharpen her skills. We will use Molly as a DS in several areas.

Freshman (2012)
Molly comes to Principia with a lot of experience on the court. She played high school and Club ball in the Chicago area, and transfered to Principia Upper School for her final year of ball. Molly is an aggressive outside hitter, and brings a nice energy to the court. She is coachable and will be training at the setter position as well. Molly is a great advocate of Principia College and of volleyball - a perfect winning combination!

FUN FACTS -
1.)  When did you start playing volleyball and why?
            I started playing volleyball in 7th grade, but I was a gym rat my whole life since my sisters played volleyball.  I loved watching my sisters play, especially at Prin :)

2.)  What do you love most about playing volleyball?
       I absolutely love working with new girls every season and getting to develop new parts of my game.
