Senior (2015)
Sierra returns for her senior year with a confidence and determination that is fun to watch.  She worked extremely hard in the off season, sand and indoor and made some great adjustments in her approach and arm swing, and then went full force into our summer training program. Sierra has proved that she is “all in” when it comes to the team and she will be an awesome captain for the team this year, on the court and off!  

Junior (2014)
Sierra proved to be a steady presence last year as a middle blocker and hitter.  She increased the number of kills she had from her freshman year and dramatically increased her digs- from 74 her freshman year to 402 last year!  She was consistent with her corner attacks and was always ready to mess up the opposing team’s defense with her off-speed offense.  Sierra cranked up the intensity of her serve last season and our sand season should help that progress continue.  We will look for even more power out of Sierra this year and are eager to see her grow as a leader.

Sophomore (2013)
Sierra had a great spring season, and trained hard over the summer. Sierra has progressed as a hitter, and we look forward to seeing more swings from more spots on the court from her this year. Sierra is a feisty competitor and a supportive teammate, and her presence on the court shows it. Sierra is ready to be an impact player for the Panthers.

Freshman (2012)
Sierra has played four years of volleyball for Principia Upper School. She also played Club ball for Southern Heat. Sierra has experience as an outside hitter and middle hitter. She is excited to jump into collegiate ball and to grow as a hitter. Sierra brings a nice intensity to the court, and a tough serve!

FUN FACTS -

1.)  When did you start playing volleyball and why?
I started playing volleyball in fourth grade. I grew up around the sport because my mom had been coaching volleyball for years! And I love it :)

2.)  What do you love most about playing volleyball?
I love feeling chemistry with my team, and accomplishing a game plan by out-lasting, out-smarting, and out-talking the other team.

3.)  What's your favorite......

Movie?  Yes Man!
