(Elsah, IL - Jan. 9, 2010) Principia hosted the top defensive team in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Conference tonight and Webster University lived up to its defensive stats allowing Prin only 25 second half points. Webster held only a four point lead at the end of the first half but went on to win 75-56.
Principia was limited to just 4-4 from the line while Webster converted 9 of 12 freethrows. Webster outrebounded Prin 38-22 but more telling was the edge on offensive rebounds. Webster had 15 boards after their own missed shots compared to Prin's 4 offensive rebounds.
