Principia College Ace Pitcher
Greg Ball out dueled Greenville College's Ace in the conference opener at home. Ball went 5 inning of no-hit baseball and was leading 1-0 when he left the ballgame because of a high pitch count.
Sophomore reliever
Robbie Nickell replaced Ball on the mound and retired the side easily in the 6th inning. However, in the 7th inning Greenville broke open the no-hitter on a 2-run homerun to leftfield. The homerun was the beginning of a Greenville assault that didn't stop until the score was 7-1.
Senior
Isaac Swiderski swung the bat very well and had two hits, as did junior captain
Spencer Brown. Greenville's ace was one of the toughest pitchers the conference has seen in many years, as his fastball was clocked at 88-89mph.
