ST. LOUIS, MO. -- After winning six straight games, the Principia College Baseball Team was blown out by the conference powerhouse Webster U. In the top of the first inning, the Panthers looked like they were going to give Webster a good battle. Captain
Spencer Brown smacked a single to left and then stole second base on the first pitch. He was then driven home by freshman
Kit Banko.
In the bottom half of the inning, the Panther pitching and defense dropped the ball. Webster never looked back, as they poured it on stealing bases and scoring runs left and right.
The team gets another crack at Webster today for a home doubleheader at 2:00.
