JACKSONVILLE, ILL. -- Principia College Women's Hoops played against MacMurray College in a road SLIAC contest tonight. Unfortunately for the Panthers, they were unable to find their rhythm, and committed 23 turnovers against MacMurray's pressure defense. The Panthers lost by a score of 64-40.
The loss drops the Panthers record to 2-9 overall. Notable efforts for the Panthers were by Karina Olsen, who finished with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Spencer Randolph also finished with 10 points, and Rachel Perea had 8 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists.
The Panthers have a quick turnaround, playing at Webster University on Thursday, January 16th. This will be another important SLIAC bout, with Principia again looking to get back on track in the new year.Â
