The Panthers jumped up big scoring four in the first, two in the seventh, and one in the eight and lead 7-2 heading into the eight. Eureka Red Devils rallied scoring six runs in the 8
th and 9
th to steal the victory 8-7.

Scott Ross got the start and pitched 7 strong innings, scattering 9 hits, allowing two earned runs, and struck out 6. Scott pitched out of tough jams all evening and really battled for the Panthers. Offensively, the Panthers were led by
Ed Bargmann who finished 3 for 4 with a triple and a double and by
Gavin Thomas who finished 3 for 5 with a RBI.
Hunter Mehring finished 2 for 4 with a monster home run.
Christian Thomas finished 2 for 5 with a RBI.
Spencer Clevenger hit a double and
Bryce Murray finished with 2 RBI's.
The Panthers look to bounce back tomorrow as the series continues with a double header starting at 1pm.
