Elsah, IL. -- Principia Men's Soccer hosted Blackburn College in their second conference game of the season on Tuesday evening. The Panthers looked to continue on the right foot after a road win at Spalding University. The Blackburn Beavers looked to get their first win in conference after falling to Westminster College this past Saturday. Both teams came into the game ready to get a win.
Principia dominated the game early and created many offensive chances within the first minutes of the game. Once again
George Agai's dynamic dribbling created a goal as he beat two defenders and slotted the ball to
Kaleb Keller who was able to finish near post. This proved to be the determining goal for the match as both teams could not find the net on limited offensive opportunities.
The Panthers improve to 2-0 in the SLIACÂ and welcome another tough test at home Saturday versus Greenville.
Â
Good to Know:
Kaleb Keller is off to a terrific start and continues his dominant offensive play as his goal today gives him 8 goals on the season. He has scored one goal a piece in each of the first two conference games and proves to be a force to be reckoned with even as a freshman.
